Your privacy matters to me. I run PancreasZen as a one-person company, so I keep this simple: I only collect what I need to deliver the book, reply to you, and keep the site running, and I never sell your data. The formal detail is below.
This Privacy Policy explains how Chilliez Entertainment s.r.o. (“PancreasZen”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit pancreaszen.com or buy our products. We act as the data controller. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Czech data protection law.

What we collect
- Email and name when you download a free resource, subscribe, or contact us.
- Order and billing data when you buy. Payments are processed by Stripe. PancreasZen is operated by Chilliez Entertainment s.r.o., the seller of record, which issues your invoice. We receive your name, email and order details, not your full card number.
- Usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location, via analytics and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
- How you move through the site, via Microsoft Clarity: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, shown to us as heatmaps and session replays so we can see which parts of a page help and which confuse people. Text you type into forms is masked in your browser and never sent to Clarity. Clarity sets its cookies only after you accept statistics cookies. How Microsoft collects and uses this data is explained in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
The fat budget calculator
What you enter in the fat budget calculator (your weight, height, age, sex, activity, phase and the foods you plan) is saved in your own browser only, in its local storage. It is not sent to us and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data for pancreaszen.com removes it. The food list the search uses is loaded from our own server; your search words stay in your browser.
“Save as PDF” uses the print function of your own browser. Nothing is sent to us.
“Email it to me” is the one case where data leaves your device. Your email address and that day’s plan (the phase, the fat, calorie and protein targets, the meals, the foods and their grams) go to our server, which passes them to our email platform, Brevo, to send you that one email. Your weight, height, age and sex are not part of it. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not store your address or your plan. Brevo keeps a delivery record of the message under its own retention rules. To stop misuse of the form, our server keeps a one-way hash of your email address and of your IP address for 1 hour, and a log line with the time and a shortened hash of the IP address. Legal basis: the email is sent at your request; the abuse protection is our legitimate interest.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To deliver products and provide support: performance of a contract.
- To send the free resource and occasional emails you asked for: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To run and secure the site and understand traffic: our legitimate interest.
- To meet tax and accounting duties: legal obligation.
Sharing
We share data only with processors that help us operate: our payment processor (Stripe), our email platform (Brevo), hosting, and analytics providers (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). Each processes data under a contract on our behalf. Some may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records: as required by Czech tax law (generally up to 10 years). Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you. Analytics: per the retention set in our analytics tools.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email hello@pancreaszen.com. You also have the right to complain to the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, uoou.cz).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
